The implementation of a system that shows a personalized video for car owners from within a container.

An assistent enters the license plate and some other information from a car; after which the car can drive into a container and a video is shown with personalized information about the car. At the end a photo is taken of the driver and the car.

The implementation consisted of development of the following parts:

• A local web server containing a website to allow assistents to enter and control the video via tablets.
• The implementation of a Flash video containing an overlay that shows animations with personalized on top of an existing video.
• The implementation of a remote server to which photo's are uploaded.

• The implementation of a simple CMS to manage the content of the various static pages in multiple languages.
• The implementation of a html5 web app where the user can upload one or more images and then create the background by moving, rotation and scaling the uploaded images.
• The implementation of a server part that creates pdf files for use by the printer containing the design made by the user.

For images the application supports jpeg, png, bmp, eps, ai and pdf file formats.

The implementation of a Flash client and supporting server code. The application was created as part of special promotion of a new type of subscription. With the application an user could give an impression where he or she would be in one year. The user could either enter a story via text or record a small video via a web-cam which was stored with the help of Flash Media Server.

The application also allowed users to view other participants stories and videos including a top 10 of most viewed items.
